Hapé (pronounced ha-PAY) is a sacred tobacco medicine used ceremonially for grounding, cleansing, and connection. Offered privately or in small groups in Austin, Texas, Hapé ceremonies are designed to help you return to your center and receive insight, stillness, and clarity.
Each ceremony includes intention setting, guided administration, and time for reflection and integration. The experience is short but powerful, often creating an immediate sense of peace, focus, and alignment. How are Earth Medicine Journeys scheduled?
Each journey is created by request. Once you inquire, Kate will work with you to design your ceremony or retreat based on your goals, timing, and availability. Mushroom ceremonies typically require at least 3 to 6 months of planning and preparation. In contrast, Hapé ceremonies require less preparation and can generally be scheduled within days or weeks of receiving your inquiry.
Who can participate in these ceremonies?
Journeys are open to women and non-binary femmes, in small private groups. You must be at least 21 years old to participate in any Earth Medicine ceremony.
Are these group or individual experiences?
Both options are available. Kate facilitates private journeys for individuals or couples, as well as small-group ceremonies for up to six participants.
What preparation is required?
Before your journey, Kate will meet with you to discuss your intentions and provide preparation guidance. This may include suggested rituals, virtual coaching sessions, journaling, or grounding practices to support your readiness.
